Yeah, but lately it seems when we give up on a player because of injury [Ellsbury aside], they come back stronger than before and usually in another teams uniform to torment us. Think of Eovaldi, Pierce, etc. I can see Didi going over to Boston or Tampa and giving us hell every time we face him, because we gave up on him. And I meant Echevarria as a temp player not as career Yankee. I still prefer Didi over Machado and won't turn my back on him.
