Not five minutes after Boone said we could have Didi back for the bulk of the season, Cash was saying he had no idea how long Didi would be out and he was to cover all options for the Team with his staff to find the best solution for the Yankees going forward. We are under the tax and have $$$ coming off the books. Why not make an offer for Manny and Corbin to bolster things then fill in the pieces with blue collar players. We don't need power hitters at every position = we need quality players who can basic solid basic baseball to support the power bats already in place.
