sounds good but Torres came up with a good eye & able to make adjustments even during an ab to what the pitcher was throwing - he had the big homer output and now seems to have lost the 'eye'. I don't know who is to blame for so many of today's players swinging for the fences instead of going with the pitch - adapting to what the pitcher gave them. Of course telling them that striking out is no longer taboo doesn't help.
