ESPN.com reports that the Yankees, who parted ways with Larry Rothschild this week, have interviewed Michigan pitching coach Chris Fetter for the same position on Aaron Boone’s staff. ESPN’s Jeff Passan describes the 33-year-old Fetter as a “rising star in the industry” and stated the Mets have also had interest in Fetter, though it is unclear in what role.
