I just don't like Rothchild but pitchers seem to have nothing to say not sure if that's just because he is the coach. As for trips to the mound - since there is a limit, I think signals are communicated to the catcher. David Cone pointed out that it is preferable to not visit the mound but wait until the pitcher comes in or even until the next bull pen session.The time for coaching isn't during a game. Coney might be a great pitching coach. He has the knowledge & stays current even with saber metrics & analytics.
