During the off season, we were excited to get James Paxton from Seattle - the big concern was whether or not he could stay healthy. To date he missed 1/2 starts with a knee issue which he says is fine. Since he returned to the starting lineup, I have doubts. Going into today's start, he had only given up a solo home run. Before getting one out, there was a 3-run blast - then you get hopeful as he K's the next three. Second inning sees a 2-run shot and the Yankees trail 0-5. Is it location???? Is he not landing properly with concern for his knee? It's a short bull pen with Kahnle & Chapman not available. Even Adam O has been used quite a bit leaving only Britton for more than 3 outs. The only good thing is two days off as they head for London. BUT someone needs to figure out why Paxton is not pitching like Paxton. I doubt Rothchild is the one - he couldn't get Green nor Holder straightened - both had to take a stint in S/WB.
