he was offered a contract before the season started and he turned it down - he wants a deal that at least equals Trout or Cole money - sorry but I can't see offering a 30 year old a 9 or 10 year $36 mil per contract - doubt seriously he has more than 3 good years left in that big body. His big problem is getting the late ML start going to college most guys get their big contracts by 28. I don't blame the Yankees is they won't offer him that kind of money.
