Can we ride a 4-game winning & the momentum that comes with up I-95? Put the disappointment of last weekend behind & come out swinging. Going into Beantown, trailing the Sux by 4 games - 7 games left against them, we can control our 2017 destiny. We know that Sale is not unbeatable; we have the starters that can pull this off with a solid D; run support and the strong bull pen. Jordy matched up well with Sale last weekend - can he do the same tonight against Pomerantz? Sabathia pitches tomorrow - will his knee hold up? Can Judge break out of his one day good the next lost at the plate funk? Will Joe bring Chapman in to close a tight game or will the Yankees get smart & DL him? (still think there is something wrong if just the after effects of overuse last playoff season) Will the ToddFather hit on the road, seems to get distracted in front of the hometown crowd? How good is their TBA pitcher going to be Sunday afternoon? Can Tanaka out pitch him? Is Gardner coming out of his latest slum? These are just some of the questions going through my mind as we prepare to cut the lead on first place - one game at a time, don't think too far ahead and play like you know how. Going in 2/3 will be a start on making our run for the AL East title.
