Don't forget this is his first full season - he's played or Dh'd in almost every game - did not get the AS break thanks to his awesome MVP first half and the *%$#@)(* home run derby. Maybe he could use a couple days off to recharge his batteries. He's part of our future - and like Joe said in his pregame today - no matter where you bat in the lineup the opportunities for rbi or to advance runners can always be there. He is still taking his walks so on base for Didi & Gary. Just like raising our kids, we're experiencing the growing pains of our Baby Bombers +the Toddler.
