they don't really think he's ready for MLB yet and needs to gain more experience - it's mess between Ford, Odor not hitting but needed for IF spots since DJ can't cover 1st, 2nd & 3rd at the same time. No one expects Gardy to play every day in center - but I resent saying 'at his advanced age' when he's only 37 (which is old for an everyday fielder but c'mon 'advanced age' that's me at almost 76 
Big mistake was the Tauchman trade but who can have forseen Hicks's injury (but maybe we should have considering his track record since signing a 7=year extension)
FWIW Stanton is expected off the IL tonight which means Judge goes back in right with Frazier back to left.
