Hopefully Cole’s enjoying it too. So far no pressure for him to hurry back before he’s 100 per cent.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Hopefully, we got one more tomorrow. But at least we’re assured of the series win.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com

Calling strikes on obvious balls that the catchers lift up into the strike zone. The catchers should get fined every time they pull that crap.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com

Haven’t seen them play this bad on the field in years! Couldn’t happen to a nicer team!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Guess that weight loss speeded up his bat some. Great job tonight so far, let’s hope it carries on into the season.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
That’s probably true, because I’m on the west coast and have to accept whatever MLB sends to me, I try and catch the radio broadcast but even WFAN doesn’t broadcast all their spring games like they used to. I don’t think I’ve heard any of their sportscasters on the radio yet. Must be their vacation periods.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
We rarely get to see or hear our starting lineups in there until the last week of spring. And the other teams playing against us usually have their starters in there, so our kids are usually playing against their seasoned vets. Doesn’t seem very fair. I listen for 3-4 innings, and when we’re trailing by 5 or 6 runs, I gotta switch channels or else I might throw the radio out the window. I know weby PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
During spring training, when the yanks are the road team, who broadcasts their games on the audio side? Are our announcers on spring break? Since I only can get the other teams’ announcers. What NY radio station broadcasts Yankees spring games? Thanks for providing info.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
You know, I’m looking at the Mets roster, and I can’t see how ONE player is gonna guarantee them getting to the playoffs next year. They could offer Soto a billion dollars, and it still won’t guarantee them a championship. They have to surpass both Atlanta and Philadelphia, who both aren’t pushovers. It would all have to be about just the money, to leave a perennial playoff team like the Yanks toby PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com

Yeah, I’d like to see if he’s lost some of the bulkiness that hampered his speed.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
You know, for the absurd amount of money these guys are making nowadays, it should be part of their contract, that during the off season they maintain some form of light exercise regiment, even if it’s a walk around their neighborhood so they don’t report to spring training and start suffering from pulled leg muscles. It doesn’t take that much to go for walks, and you don’t have to bulk up like Sby PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com

I cannot believe the Yanks couldn’t offer Neris the exact same one year deal the Cubs offered him, maybe for $10 mil instead of the 9 he signed for. Cashman is really dropping the ball on frontline help.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
It amazes me that some of these guys just can’t accept the success they’ve achieved, without putting it in jeopardy by leaning towards domestic abuse or getting involved with drugs and such. It’s like they believe they’ll never get caught. I say what a friggin’ waste of talent!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
I’ll be happy just to get spring training underway and we can get some baseball on the air. I’ve missed it “big time”!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Thanks, appreciate the info.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Does our GM go back to someone we’ve approached and ask them if they’ve made up their mind? Or does he simply wait for his phone to ring from that player’s agent? Seems like it’s getting close to spring training and some of these players are sitting on their hands waiting for return phone calls. Does anyone have an idea of what’s going on?by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
It’s our scouting department. They don’t know how to spot a top line pitcher unless he’s being scouted by 20 other teams. The days of going out on the road and finding hidden gems is long gone.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
