We rarely get to see or hear our starting lineups in there until the last week of spring. And the other teams playing against us usually have their starters in there, so our kids are usually playing against their seasoned vets. Doesn’t seem very fair. I listen for 3-4 innings, and when we’re trailing by 5 or 6 runs, I gotta switch channels or else I might throw the radio out the window. I know we’ve got to see what the young guys bring to the table, but losing 3-4 games in a row is a real turn off. I just keep hoping they don’t get used to a losing trend before we start the season.
