not taking taking sides - this is the problem with MLB airing negotiations in public - trying make the other side the villian if something doesn't get done. The NBA & NHL have worked their negotiations behind closed doors - details revealed only as agreements are close - NBA owners are voting today on Adam SIlvers' proposal to start the season July 1st - camps have opened on a limited basis.
I agree with Michael Kay - let the representatives from both sides get together in a 'closed session' and hammer out an agreement to take back to their members -= kind of like the saying what goes on in Vegas stays there. Another problem I can see each side trying to get the upper hand for CBA negotiations in 2021. The more I see these offers & counteroffers leaked - the more my hopes for 2020 MLB sink a llittle more.
