I think they(Yanks) should offer Romine a very lucrative contract to stay. You need two very good catchers Incase your starter gets hurt or goes into a prolonged slump. Remember how Elston Howard spent years backing up Yogi Berra, and I don’t ever recall him complaining about not getting playing time. Possibly because the Yanks made it worth his while to remain backing up Yogi, till he got his chance to step up. So I hope the Steinbrenners re-sign Austin.
