Instead of starting pitchers pitching 5 innings then 4 innings of bullpen then having 4 days off how about starters go 3 innings. Say Tanaka then bring in CC for 2 innings the bullpen then have 3 days off and continue this with all the starters. Or Happ for 3, Pax for 3. 50 pitches per game for the starters.
