Bet I'm the only here who remembers Mel Allen broadcasting Yankee games on the radio - the days before TV broadcasts or maybe just a Saturday game of the week. I hated it when Red Barber did them - then along came Scooter, Lived in Jersey for a bit so was able to watch PIX games and by the time I moved back to the Saratoga area cable was coming in. So that's why I'm spoiled with Yankee broadcast teams - they have always had the best - hate SPN even FOX teams.
