I agree. I mean if he’s not going to help a player who’s in a slump, what good is he? And I’m surprised that more good hitters don’t become batting coaches when they stop playing. Can you imaging having Tony Gwynn, Tony Oliva, ( I know those two have passed away) or even George Brett as a batting coach? I don’t even know who the Yankee batting coach is.
