Rivalry’s during the golden era of NY baseball.

Yeah, I could see hating the Dodgers and/or the Giants back in that golden era… People who I’ve spoken to who were around back then would talk about how fans of all three teams hated the other two that they weren’t fans of.

I guess that’s why the Red Sux/Yankees rivalry didn’t really develop until the early 70’s thanks to Thurman & Fisk. Not to mention Nettles, Lee, Pinella, Rice, etc. Who arrived soon after.
