it's the same old story - greed - whether it's MLB v the unions or a player v the team - they argue over a few million then reach an argeement or even the arb. judges decide. In the end it's the fans who up paying for those millions even if it's 'only 1/4 to 1/2 million' in higher ticket, concession, souvenir & parking prices. Let's not forget the recent lockout and after the agreement was reached & players returned, the announcement this year 26 Yankee games and probably a like number for the other MLB teams would be on Peacock, Prime or Apple. Unless fans paid for those providers they miss out of those games - let's see how many games are involved in the coming years. That's just baseball there's also the NFL, NBA, NHL - they're all businesses and their expenses are passed on to the consumer/fans. It all gets tied together and with soaring prices for even the basics of life - it's the little guys working for minimum wage or the seniors living on fixed incomes who are hit the hardest. The greed on both sides contributes - and just watch in 5, 6. 7 years when the nexts CBA comes into discussion, the MLBPA will be looking for a % of the other provider deals. Might not make sense to others but in my thoughts it does.
