But who reprimands the geeks? Or are they given immunity from their mistakes? If a manager is not allowed to reprimand a player, how’s the player to realize that his level of play is not acceptable? Like when Gary was allowing so many pass balls that it got ridiculous, or if he fails to move up the baseline with the ball to challenge a base runner? Someone’s got to take ownership of that. Physical mistakes are gonna happen, but mental mistakes shouldn’t happen at this level.
