and Gleyber had to bouts of COVID - start considering long term COVID which doesn't necessarily mean testing positive just weird symptoms like sluggishness or slow reaction times.

As for playing the hot hands - we've never stayed with the backups once 'starters' are ready to return. I still fume over letting Gary Sheffield on the post season roster when he reutrned during the final week of the season from injury. As for S/WB -AAA season is about over. Any player will tell you the biggest jump is from AAA to the majors - doing well in AAA does not equate to the majors.
