It was a commercial that Tom Glavine and John Smoltz did when they were still pitching for the Braves and a reference to why so many homers were being hit a particular year and why power hitters were more popular than good pitchers. Either Smoltz or Glavine responded by saying that “Chicks nowadays dig the long ball more than a well pitched game”.
