A rookie is only good until the rest of the league figures him out, and word gets around fast! Then unless he’s able to adapt to the league, he’s screwed. Which is what Gary is, because he’s never even tried to adapt to the way they’re pitching him. Everything with him is yank and pull! He hasn’t figured out that he’s got the raw strength to go to right field and hit it out of our little ball park. When the day comes that he figures that out, he’ll be the player that he was when he first broke in.
