I totally agree with you. Sadly we need to go back to the days when we had only about 3 power hitters on team, like Mantle, Maris, and Berra and the rest of the guys were contact type hitters like Jeter, Richardson, O’Neill, guys who would go with the pitch and try to get on for the power guys, not try to yank everything out of the park. That’s where we’re going to fall short against teams like the Astros, Rays, and Bluejays, who have just plain HITTERS on their teams.
