He must have 60-60 vision in both eyes! How the hell can he call that last pitch a ball??? He needs to change those glasses for binoculars!!!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Do some of these blind umps have it in for the Yanks? Seems like we are getting worked over by the Umpire’s Union, all of them!!!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
The look on Hicks’ face says “hey, what can they do to me?” I so wish they would bring up Miggy and sit Hicks ass on the bench!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
That is the one thing I miss about George not being around. He was not going to let the Luxury Tax keep him from getting the best players for his team. I think he would’ve told Cashman to get him Soto and Castillo or not to come back until he did. I honestly think he was not afraid to pay the Luxury tax if he was able to have a perennial winner.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Was it the all-star break? Was it Stanton getting hurt? Was it Rizzo hurting his back? Was it Holmes coming back to Earth? Was it all those stupid days off? What the heck are we doing different that we weren’t doing before? I have all these questions that Boone better come up with some answers, other than generic answers. Or maybe it’s Cashman not willing to make the big deals for players we needby PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Don’t they have guys that throw decent junk anymore?by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Just do your job and get on base! Go the other way!!!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
I think I’d rather have Benitendi in left than Hicks, just for his bat. I’ve grown more and more disappointed in Hicks’ batting skills.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Why even make the overture if you have no intentions of sticking to it?by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Hopefully all these guys we traded for will take the next step forward. It sure would’ve been nice to have Castillo in our lineup. Those guys we kept sure better have been worth it!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
This team showed such promise, then the injuries started rearing it’s ugly head and the next guys up, haven’t done their jobs, not to mention that useless spot occupied by Gallo. Which I am so happy is not there anymore. Benitendi will be so much better than Joey G. I just hope our pitching starts getting better for the stretch run.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Asstros have caught us in the win column at 70, and trail us by one game in the loss side. Time for the “Big Boy” pants to be put on! Otherwise we’ll be playing playoff game in Houston instead of NY.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
This is the time when all the guys need to step up and start earning these astronomical paychecks, instead of just going thru the motions!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Somehow not having Stanton in lineup, puts less fear about pitching around Judge. And it doesn’t help to have Rizzo out too.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Maybe it’s time for Chapman to get another crack at the closer’s role, but not a prolonged crack if he doesn’t live up to it.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
You got that right.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Don’t know why these guys get away from what got them to the majors! Stay on the horse you rode in on! Don’t know when they’ll get it through their thick skulls!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Yeah, I wish he would take IKF’s approach at bat and just get the bat on the ball. Leave the heavy hitting to the big guys!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Offer him an 8 yr contract, then if he’s still healthy at that time, go year to year.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
No, but why aren’t they looking for guys that throw in the 100’s? Some of these other teams always seem to pickup some castoffs that all of a sudden start throwing in the 100’s and they all start pitching against us.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
I’m telling you, they’re babying these 20 year olds as if they were decrepit old men with all these days off. Lou Gehrig and Cal Ripken are laughing their asses off!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
If we start squandering away our lead, I’m going to blame it on all the days off, and how long it takes for these guys to find their timing again, since obviously they do not take batting practice on their “days off”!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Yeah, but he’s been tending to stay away from throwing that 100 heater. And he’s the only one.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Get guys that throw in the 100 mph range and we end up with guys that throw in the 90’s?by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
He should be near the end of that crappy contract that ties him to us. His power swing and batting eye has really diminished!by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
I guess he’s just getting the obligatory day off.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Haven’t seen any shots of him on the bench.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
Isn’t that just the way it goes, we trade a guy and he comes back and pitches the game of his life against us. I can see it coming.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
To tell you the truth, I wasn’t all that thrilled with Monty’s stuff. If any starter not named Domingo German needed fingers crossed every time he started, it was Jordan Montgomery. You never knew what you were going to get when he took the mound. Still sorry to see him go.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
If he does get dealt, better be for more than just a prospect, should be for another A-lister. He’s proven he can play in the majors.by PRYanksFan - TheYankeesBoard.com
