This one is really going to hurt.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Good question. I don't know what's up with Tyler Austin. He had an unspecified injury while at Triple AAA a few weeks ago.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
He hasn't been the same pitcher this entire month. I hope he's not hurt.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
They would've brought up McKinney, but he was dealt in the Happ trade.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
They're playing a double header today. They can't play all of their starters in both games.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
I certainly hope that is the case, but from what I've read about this type of injury, this could keep Aaron Judge from being 100% for the rest of the season.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Justin Turner had the same type of injury back in Spring Training, on March 19th. He didn't play in a MLB game until two months later, on May 15th.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
I guess he's not made of steel after all..by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
&^%$#@*&%$*@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
We have a flood of outfielders in the Majors & Minors, and Drury who is young and under control for another four years has been leap frogged over by Andujar and Gleyber. Cashman is going to have fits with the 40 man roster & Rule 5 draft this off season. So we might as well make room on our 40 man roster, and address our weaknesses at the same time. This was a good trade IMO. I just hoby Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
MLB.com's Mark Feinsand reported that Toronto is expected to receive infielder Brandon Drury and outfield prospect Billy McKinney, the Yankees' No. 20 prospect.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Was just about to post this from USA Today. It says nothing about who they are sending to Toronto.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Quotetoga wouldn't be the first time a team wanted a king's ransom from the Yankees and settled for peanuts from another team - The Pirates supposedly accepted LESS from the Houston Astros for Gerrit Cole.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
And the Red Sux only gave up one prospect for him??by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Quotetoga not until Boone smartens up and takes the starter before he gives up the lead - no reason for Cessa to pitch the 6th today. Gardy is in another funk and driving me nuts. Maybe that's why Cashman got Britton. To force Boone to have a shorter leash with his starters. PS: Glad you're back!!by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Well, at least he was scratched from today's start against the Yankees.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Get a lead by the 5th inning, and it's lights out for the other team!!by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
QuoteGiambino he has to use this time off to come back a better player. That's just it with Sanchez. He has the talent, nobody is denying that. His problem is between the ears! He's been labled as being lazy ever since his minor league days.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Two years ago the Yankees had a "Three Headed Monster" in the bullpen. Well, now they have a "FIVE HEADED MONSTER"!!! Great trade, Cash!!!!by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Don't let our/my outburst from last night stop you from posting here. Maybe we vented the way we did because it was very frustrating to watch and we don't want to see Gary Sanchez turn into a Cespedes. For the record, I never said lets trade him or release him. We're angry because we want to see him play baseball the "Yankee Way" with a fire in your belly at all times. Please don't gby Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
In the first inning??? Funny he didn't mention that in his post game interview last night. Only that he felt fine and that he should have ran harder in the 9th inning play.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
1. Severino gave his best "effort" last night, even if it wasn't his best performance. It happens. 2. As for Didi's bunt with Stanton on deck, one could argue it wasn't the best move, but with the bass loaded and Hicks up (followed by LAZY Sanchez), all the Yanks needed was a sac fly. He grounded out to 3rd. It happens. 3. As hot as Stanton is, he might not have gotten the job doby Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Catcher's miscue allows runner to score from second, then he doesn't run out final out of game. ST. PETERSBURG -- A dugout conversation between Yankees right-hander Luis Severino and catcher Gary Sanchez got heated on Monday night at Tropicana Field after a passed ball charged to Sanchez allowed Jake Bauers to score from second base, giving the Rays an early 1-0 lead. Sanchez then failedby Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Send him to Scranton for a few games!!! Sorry, still fuming...by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
They battled back and scored six runs tonight. (Would've scored more if it wasn't for Sanchez). It should be enough to win.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
I can't believe how he dogged it out of the box in his last at bat.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
Pitchers love routine, so I wouldn't be surprised if too much rest was Sevy's culprit tonight.by Hitman23 - TheYankeesBoard.com
