Yeah, I couldn't blame Gerrit Cole or any player wanting to opt out to keep their loved ones and themselves safe. With that said, I would be a little surprised if Gerrit decided not to play, just because of his regiment during the shutdown and he just seems to be chopping at the bit to pitch in pinstripes ASAP.

I just hear two different messages and points of views between Gerrit Cole, and say Mike Trout.
