of course MLB wants a season & are trying to figure it out - we hear the ideas tossed out for consideration but not why they might not work. Ballplayers are losing money by not playing (they ones in the minor leagues are the really the ones who can't afford). With ball parks closed the owners are losing money - would it be financally feasible for them to play in emplty stadiums - that's why we hear talk about playing in the ST training facilities or perhaps 3 games a day in Arizona/Florida parks/ Can they really keep those parks & facilities sanitized to prevent another out break? Are players willing to isolate away from their families for months? Then when the medicos who have been researching the virus talk about another influx coinciding with the flu season,. Even the NBA in considering opening training facilites in CO. or states with low outbreaks - practice would allow only 4 players in at a time & observing the social distancing rules.
