Owners & Players Agreement

A new agreement between MLB owners & players has been reached. Michael Kay has explained it.
When the season begins:
Not until there is no ban on havings fans in the stands or mass gatherings.
No travel restrictions
No health concerns from the virus.

The union will not sue for lost games if there are no games. Teams will make $170 million over the next 2 motnhs for players divided among 4 classes with players having guaranteed salaries getting the bulk. If games resume, this will go toward the pro-rated salaries.

If there is no season, players will not lose their right to free agency -

Teams receive no revenue unless there is baseball - no television money.
