Last night CC Sabathia surprised me pleasantly. He had good location and command of his pitches - excellent pitch count and if we weren't facing 20 consecutive - 19 now- where the pitching staff will be tested and taxed, Joe might have let him finish the 7th. Gary smashed a 3run shot then Carter added 2 more, C pitched with a relaxed motion and KC was held at bay not poising much of a threat. Some outstanding "D" by Headley & Didi saved a few hits. It's one game for C but even Cy Young started with his first win- let's see if he can build on this and be a solid mid-rotation guy for the rest of the season..
