All good points but Cole is just a different animal. I don't think he'll need an adjustment because he spent the last two years in the American League, and pitched in the playoffs in those two seasons including a World Series. My main concern more than anything else with Cole is his health going forward.
As for the distant future beyond 2020.... It's going to be real interesting as to how they deal with Tanaka & Paxton as free agents. Who will take their spots in the rotation if they don't re-sign? Deivi? Monty?
Just my opinion, but I don't think they'll be able to keep all three (Judge, Gleyber & Sanchez) when they become FA's. They may have to let one go and that might be Sanchez.
