You could say the game was lost in the first inning - bases loaded no outs Torres & Encarnacion did nothing - a walk to Gardner scored 1 yet everyone blames Sanchez for striking out Gleyber had an 0-fer night plus an error - bad hops to DJ for two more errors. Four errors in one playoff game didn't help. The leaving risp bug struck big time in this series - Though the game was lost & now down 1 game to 3, the saddest thing was watching C leave his final game of a 20 year career with an injury - he fought so hard to come back, pitched through the pain in his knees only to have a shoulder injury take him out.Playing the 'what if' game: If the pen hadn't stretched & used so much; If Boone had only left C in for that one batter, he could have walked off the field head high instead of face in his glove to hide the tears of frustration. Sabathia Day at the Stadium will be huge.
