Was watching a preview this afternoon on Gerritt Cole and how he grew up a Yankees fan. And I remember other so-called Yankees fans that turned around and signed elsewhere. Patrick Corbin grew up a Yankees fan, Marcus Stroman grew up a Yankees fan, sometimes it feels like the kiss of death when these guys make those statements just to get our hopes up, then let us down by signing with other teams when it’s clear we would / use them on our team. I’ve stopped believing their rhetoric!
