this going to be one of the most frustrating losses of the year. 5 hits being shoutout by a so-so pitcher. who if not for the pitch count would probably pitch a CG. Tanaka pitched 7 innings without having his best stuff and still kept us in the game - too bad there was no offense to back him up. Too bad the official scorer can't give the loss to the pitcher who deserves instead of the pitcher who was on the mound when the go ahead run scored. Cortes Jr. was left in one inning too long - I still like his stuff but think it's about his innings for the season - he's been up & down from AAA. Frazier got his start but showed me he still isn't ready - missed two balls & couldn't get a hit when needed. - granted he made a good throw to nail the runner at the plate in the 7th. I won't relax until we clinch HFA . We've seen in the last couple of playoffs just how important it becomes. and the 220 games without being shoutout comes to an end at the hands of a team with the worst record between Memorial Day & Labor Day!!!!!
