nit si gard ib tiyrsekf H-man. Boone is doing a good job especially when you look at the injuries iall season. He manages when he is allowed - but at the same time when something backfires & goes we have to remember he's not making all the calls. The anaylitical crew behind the scenes provides a list of what to do if this happens but do that if it's this. I may respond to the 'heat of the moment' but bottom line is simple: every player has to step up and do his job- it's about team next man up. There's a team chemistry & balance with theseguys , similar to the one in '98- at the hub of it is Judge, Gardy & CC. We've watached Railriders transform in Yankee contributors. Heading into the stretch/end of regular season we're getting a little taste of a few more testing whether or not they have any ML potential. Throughout the season the chemistry got stronger as kids made the S/WB shuttle to the Bronx - my big concern is if or when Stanton is brought up. Will he disrupt the balance, the chemistry???? We watched Gary Sheffield do just that - the ego doesn't allow them to fit into the team concept. per se. It's hard to explain because I'm not saying they're not team players - Sheff was willing to play 3rd in that 2004 Jeter-diving-into-the-stands game; Stanton says the right things but there's just some intangible that prevents them from meshing with the chemistry.
Just rainy day ramblings watching ENCORE of yesterday
