I agree it did take a bad bounce. He let that happen was my point. He should've charged it. It's always a split second decision. For a split second if his mind drifted, that's all it took, or maybe it was physical impediment in that split second. As I said, he shouldda charged the ball. Short hops are way easier than waiting on a ball. That's when bad hops are exposed.
But it's history. I was impressed at his ability the play before. Then next play, it was game over. He is pretty good. I just haven't seen him as deserving of the wild high accolades he is getting for his defense, by a whole lot of Yankee fans. Doesn't mean I don't love what he's done in pinstripes. I do.
As an aside, my friend toga, adding to/from our other conversation, in our need to acquire a top SP (of which there is very limited choices for my satisfaction) if we had to give up an Urshela or Frazier as part of a deal to get a choice SP, I would give up Urshela. How about you?
