With the season just over 3 weeks away, we find out that the shoulder injury Tommy Kahnle suffered toward the end of 2023 is keeping from appearing on the mound. This is not a good sign for the bullpen which is still missing Scott Effross and Lou Trevino -both are expected to return sometime during the season. Don't forget all the arms that were lost in trades to get Soto & Verdugo. We have no idea how JLo will be and if Clay Holmes can be consistently reliable for the season. Unfamiliar waters as the pen has been a strength in recent years.
