New York had one of the worst offenses in baseball in 2023. This was surprising. The Yankees had one of the top rosters on paper entering the season, but injuries and inconsistent play decimated the club.
The Yankees have some work to do this offseason after winning just 82 games and already have gotten started. New York even has hired an analytics company to take a look into the organization. The Yankees will be busy looking to improve this offseason and have plenty of money to spend. MLB.com's Mark Feinsand compiled a list of the top 25 free agents and unsurprisingly the Yankees popped up as one of the top landing spots for multiple stars. One player who has been tied to the Yankees before and makes sense is Chicago Cubs star Cody Bellinger, according to Feinsand.
