However, you have to understand the player’s point of view….

They have a very short shelf life and they have to make the most of their money making ability before they are cut and THROWN BACK into the real world. Most likely without skills to make money elsewhere post MLB career.

Unlike the owners who will continue to make loads of cash regardless of the success of their teams….
