Looks like Brian Cashman didn't just fleece Derek Jeter on the Stanton trade last winter, but in the Garret Cooper & Caleb Smith trade as well. The main chip for the Yankees was thought to be international pool money to be used to acquire Ohtani. But now it's starting to look like this kid Mike King might be the real prize. He has shot up from single A to triple AAA this season, and has an ERA under 2.00 in this season in the combined levels, AND in triple AAA alone!!
