and if he felt he could pitch effectively longer, he would have been left in. Our guys are not used to the altitude and thinner air in Denver. Factor in the heat and it takes a big toll. That wasn't the problem. Bull pen is still shaking off the rust from the AS break - mechanics & timing need to be fine tooned.
