the only hot hitters recently have been IKF& Volpe - a couple hits in one game does make a hot hitter and that's what most have done, if they even get a hit. Rizzo seems to have lost his 'power' since his neck injury and not having Judge in the lineup; DJ is having the worst abs of his career; Josh has 9/10 homeruns and the Yankees have lost the majority of those games but not much else; Stanton has the exit velo but not much else; neither catcher is producing much with the bat; Torres has spurts but not always consistent; Bader was hot before the injury and is still off on timing; Cabrera has been a complete bust this season; Bauers & McKinney were not really expected to be in the Bronx but have been fairly decent though their have missed plays in the OF. IKF even when he misses a ball over his head or coming in, still gets a pass because until April or May he didn't play out there and he's becoming quite the utility player and its improved his BA. So I disagree about resting players - some get the day off in hopes they will 'regroup' and maybe get hot after a day or two on the bench.
