While Giants were changing pitchers, Vlad Guerrero went into dugout and sprayed something on his bat from neck to the barrel. So if the pitchers aren’t allowed to have sticky stuff on their hands, why are batters allowed to spray whatever he was spraying on his bat? Was it so the ball doesn’t spin off the bat? Or was it so the ball would somehow stick to his bat during his swing? Don’t know what it was he was spraying, but what’s good for the goose, should be good for the gander regarding sticky stuff! Did anyone else happen to see that?
