Boomer Esiason has provided a voice for Yankees fans who are frustrated about not knowing where the next game will be on — and having to pay for at least four different platforms to watch their team.
As Yankees fan account River Ave Blues pointed out, the Yankees are in the middle of a five-game stretch where their games are on four separate outlets — Sunday was Peacock, Tuesday and Thursday are on YES Network, Wednesday is on Amazon’s Prime Video and Friday’s game is on Apple TV+.
On WFAN’s “Boomer & Gio” on Monday morning, Esiason empathized with how much effort keeping track of the Bombers’ schedule is.
“You’ve got to find them on Peacock. You’ve got to find them on Apple TV+. You’ve got to find them on Prime. And then you’ve got to find them on YES. When are they, where are they, and how do we find them? It’s ridiculous. This is as bad as the NFL. You talk about a money grab.”
