So why couldn’t they send down a lesser used reliever and keep Brito up to use in German’s starting spot one time, then send him down when German is reinstated? A pitcher is a pitcher, whether it be starter or reliever, just to not have this vacant slot in rotation. They’re gonna have to use a reliever in German’s turn anyway, I don’t get it.
