that along with the bigger bases I'm not happy with. the shot clock or time thing and eliminating to some extent shifts not a problem for me. For all the players going to the WBC, they will miss three weeks or more adjusting to the clock. Guess we'll adjust to not seeing the O's, Jays, Rays, & Sux 19 times during the regular season.It'll be interesting for teams that romp over certain division rivals for padding leads. Bigger bases really and those 'oven mitt' style sliding gloves are making a mockery of base stealing. In the end just like expansion, interleague play, & all the other changes we will have to endure. Why couldn't they just leave the game we love alone. Maybe I'm just getting old.
