I don’t think it was Stanton’s idea, I think Boone just gets caught up in his off day cycle that he gives guys days off whether they need it or not. I mean they just won 5 in a row since Stanton was reinserted in the lineup. They pull him out for that stupid day off, and they fall back into their non-hitting funk! LEAVE THE DAMN LINEUP ALONE BOONE!! Jeez! Stanton is a presence in the lineup, he makes the pitcher give Judge better pitches to hit just by the mere fact the pitcher doesn’t want to face Stanton with runners on base. I’m so sick of these analytics a-holes running this team! Pretty soon they won’t need managers in the dugouts, just like umpires behind the plate!
