It’s extremely hard to figure out why the Yankees are so awful since the all star break. One theory is the Joey Gallo syndrome. Too many guys swinging as hard as possible and not making enough contact. Of course Stanton being out doesn’t help but one guy can’t account for a nearly total team hitting slump. The pitching has been bad also. They been getting behind hitters a lot and walking a bunch. Or they get behind and have to come over the heart of the plate and get hit hard. Someone needs to take charge of this team. The vets need to lead by example and also be the vocal leaders. Hoping things turn around soon or this could be the biggest collapse in MLB history!
