I hear ya Hitter, it’s like in the beginning of the season, they had all this enthusiasm and thought they couldn’t be beat. Now it’s like they’re thinking “how are we going to lose tonight?” Sure injuries are part of the game, but that’s when the healthy remaining players have to step up and carry the load for a bit. Where are those players that we used to bring up from minors and they would make some kind of impact? The so-called next player up? And I’m not just talking about pitching, but the young phenoms like the ones they keep mentioning in trade talks. Let’s bring ‘em up for a cup of coffee and see how they do in the big time. I’m tired of seeing our old farts swing and miss. Enough of my ranting.
