and for the luxury tax - it does effect the fan in raised tix prices, concessions, parking fees, souvenirs and let's not forget the Prime, Apple & whatever streaming contracts get entered into taking games away from YES.
Ok so I'm old school and remember being able to get bleacher seats for like $1.75 each - hot dogs, soda & pop corn for $5. So the luxury tax, inflation & huge player contract all get passed on to the fans.
